We are excited to offer a new app-based listening system in our sanctuary! To use our assistive listening system, you’ll need a smartphone and Bluetooth-enabled headphones or hearing aids. Simply download the Listen WiFi app and then connect to the dedicated WiFi network in the sanctuary. Audio will stream directly to your device, and you can adjust the volume just like any other app. Detailed instructions will be available in our Narthex on Sunday.

How to Use the Hearing Assistance System

Before You Begin you will need:
• A smartphone (iPhone or Android)
• Bluetooth hearing aids, earbuds, AirPods, or headphones

Download the App
• Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) on your phone and search for ListenWIFI
• Download and install the app. This could require your App Store password, if needed to download an app.

Connect in the Sanctuary
When you are seated:
• Open the ListenWiFi app.
• Connect to the WiFi network "AFUMC Assisted Hearing."
Note: This network works only inside the sanctuary.

Listen and Adjust Volume
• Make sure your hearing aids or headphones are connected to your phone by Bluetooth.
• You can then adjust the volume on your phone just as you would for music, a phone call, or any other listening app.
