ROAM is the older adult ministry of Athens First, created for adults who are young at heart and looking to build meaningful friendships, explore new experiences, and stay connected to their church family. Through fellowship gatherings, shared meals, day trips, and special excursions, ROAM provides opportunities to grow in community while enjoying life together.

Whether you're a longtime member or newly connected to Athens First, we invite you to join us as we reimagine what this season of life can look like through faith, friendship, and adventure.

Dillard House Trip

October 29
Join us for a fall day trip to North Georgia! We will enjoy lunch and explore the grounds of the Dillard House, spend some time in historic downtown Clayton, and take in the beautiful fall foliage along the way. Stay tuned for trip itinerary and price.

Friendsgiving

November 19
Let's gather for a Thanksgiving covered dish meal with friends! We will provide the turkey, you bring your favorite side or dessert to share. We will also be collecting new socks to support the work of our missions ministry. Bring a pair, or a few, and help us share a little warmth with our neighbors this season!

ROAM is just getting started, and we're excited about what's ahead. We're seeking volunteers to serve on a planning committee that will help organize events, develop new ideas, and create opportunities for fellowship and connection throughout the year.
