With the increasing likelihood of snow and below-freezing temperatures this coming weekend, we're making some adjustments to our worship schedule to allow us the opportunity to worship together in-person this week.
We will not hold worship services on Sunday, February 1. Instead, we invite you to join us for one service tomorrow night, Friday, January 30, at 6:00 p.m.
Childcare (Infants through Pre-K) will be provided, but we will not have Kids programming or Sunday School classes.
Sunday, February 1, Afternoon and Evening: Music Rehearsals and Student Ministry programming are canceled for Sunday afternoon and evening.
Saturday, January 31: We will be rescheduling Saturday basketball games and our Women’s Conference. Information on rescheduled dates will be available soon.
Photo Directory: Our photo directory appointments for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will need to be rescheduled. You will receive a follow-up call from the company to reschedule any canceled appointments.
We are grateful for the opportunity to gather tomorrow night, and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone available to worship with us tomorrow evening! If you are unable to attend, we will be recording the service, and it will be available on our website (athensfirstumc.org) for you to worship from home on Sunday morning.
