Step through the mist with us this summer into a paradise overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Each day we will explore the life-giving truth that God loves us deeply. VBS is June 1-4, and registration is now open for rising K-6th graders!
Kids entering grades K-5 will experience faith taking root as they discover God is their loving creator who knows everything about them. Wonder washes away doubt that God loves us and hope lives when kids explore the rich gift of Jesus and promise of a home forever.
Kids going into 6th grade this fall will explore the lush and lively setting in their very own, 6th grade only, experience.
Our incredible Student Ministry Volunteers are essential to a successful VBS! Rising 7th–12th graders will team up with adult leaders to guide our young explorers, ensuring they have a fun and safe adventure.
Adult Volunteers will serve as Rainforest Rangers, leading groups of kids through the heart of the rainforest. Bring your sense of adventure and love for the outdoors—Athens First will be buzzing with young explorers!
Calling all little ones of our amazing volunteers! Kids Pre-K and under are invited to Paradise Preschool. Children who turn 4 years old by 9/1/26 will enjoy a VBS experience designed just for them. Younger children (ages 0-3 years) will be cared for by our loving nursery staff while their grown-ups help lead the big kids.
**Childcare and Pre-K VBS is provided for Adult Volunteers only**

As of May 12, registration is closed for participants in grades K-6. Adults and Student registration is still open. Children of volunteers will be allowed to register as well. Please contact Traci for help with registering.

Mission Project
Baby Wipes Needed!
During Rainforest Falls VBS (June 1-4), kids will explore the nature of God and explore what it means to be a good neighbor! For a second year, Kids at Athens First will be collecting baby wipes to support families in need in the Athens area. Kids can drop their baby wipes in the donation bin as they exit carpool. Thank you for your help!
Volunteer Information
Thank you for volunteering to serve at Vacation Bible School! Please plan to attend one of the volunteer trainings. To ensure that there are opportunities for all volunteers to attend, we are offering 2 training dates: May 17 at 12:15 p.m. and May 27 at 5:00 p.m. At this training, we will review all important VBS details as well as our policies and procedures. Our goal is to equip each volunteer with information that leads to a successful week.
