Children who are 3 years old by September 1, 2024 & are potty trained / Wednesdays 5:00-5:45 p.m.
Games and singing that help the child keep a steady beat, explore their voices, and learn about worship. Preschool choirs sing in worship during Christmas and in the spring. Emphasis for this group is faith and community building, worship leading preparation, and fun!
Note: Children must be potty trained to participate in children’s choirs. If you have a need or concern in this area, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Janis!
Potty Training information | from our weekday preschool guidelines:
- Children can communicate their need to go to the bathroom in advance of having an accident.
- Children can pull down and pull up their own underwear and pants.
- They can seat themselves on the toilet and sit there comfortably.
- They can wipe their own bottoms.
- They can wash their own hands.
- They can briefly postpone going to the bathroom if they must wait for another child to finish or if we are outside and need to walk in from the playground.
- Children who are independent in toileting do not wear diapers or pull-ups to school unless there is a medical need for which this would be required.
