We are excited to start another year of the Elijah Project during a time when prayer is so needed. The Elijah Project prayer ministry is about connecting adults and youth in our congregation. This year, the identity of the adult partner will not be concealed from the student prayer partner. Prayer partners will be able to connect through snail mail and email.
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer."
- Romans 12:12
The Elijah Project is an inter-generational prayer ministry. Through the partnership of youth and adult church members and consistent, expectant prayer, God is moving in our church in a powerful way!
How does it work?
Each participating student is matched with an adult prayer partner. We provide the adult with prayer requests and updates about their student. This year, the identity of the adult partner will not be concealed from the student. Adults will be able to send encouragement through mail and emails to the student; students can write back with prayer requests and gratitude!
Who can participate?
We encourage any youth in grades 7-12 to register to be a student prayer partner. Any adult in our church is welcome to register to be an adult prayer partner.
When can I submit a prayer request?
If you are a student participating in the Elijah Project, you can submit a prayer request here:
