“The Hardest Words to Say”

One of the most fundamental and foundational beliefs of the Christian faith is that of forgiveness. In fact, every time we pray the Lord’s prayer, we ask God to “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” And yet one of the hardest phrases we’ll ever utter is: “I forgive you.” We’ll look at why Jesus and Mr. Rogers both believed that offering forgiveness is essential to the life of discipleship.
