The Message of Jesus | Churchwide Lenten Study
As we prepare to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, we invite you to join us for our churchwide Lenten study, The Message of Jesus: Words that Changed the World, by Adam Hamilton. In this six-week study, Hamilton explores six of the most important themes in Jesus's teachings, why they matter, and how they speak to us today. The study will explore Jesus's preaching on the Kingdom of God, the Sermon on the Mount, the parables, the "I Am" sayings in John, and more.
We are excited to offer this study to individuals, groups, and classes. Sunday school classes will begin on March 9, and small groups and Bible studies will begin on March 11 and 12.
Opportunities to participate in a small group include:
- Tuesday Women's Bible Study | 12:30 p.m. | John Wesley Parlor
- Wednesday Morning Bible Study | 9:30 a.m. in Hancock Parlor Room 200 & on Zoom
- Wednesday Zoom Bible Study | 12:30 p.m.
- Wednesday Night Bible Study | 6:30 p.m. in Hull Conference Room
