We have some amazing opportunities for you to stay connected and get connected this summer! Below you will find all the great things coming for this summer!
Scuba VBS Student Volunteers | June 3-6
Scuba VBS is going to be full of Bible adventures, games, music, snacks, hugs, high-fives and sciency-fun “wows”! Don’t miss all of the “fin-tastic” fun God has in store at the summer’s best week ever!
Students, we are so excited for VBS this year and are excited about all the ways that you will be able to participate and serve this June!
Going into 6th grade this Fall? You will have your own Aquatic realm buoying between our AFUMC campus and offsite mission opportunities.
Going into 7th-Graduated Seniors? We need you to dive deep and swim alongside our adult leaders and volunteers and keep the younger fishy friends safe and engaged. Our rising 7th-Graduated Seniors can serve in several areas during VBS from games to Imagination Station to hanging out with all the amazing kids that will be coming to AFUMC to learn about God.

Youth Pool Party | June 5
Join us for a pool party from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, June 5! We will swim, enjoy pizza for dinner and ice cream for dessert, and just hang out by the pool. More information coming soon!
Pool Party
High School Rafting Trip | June 7
Join us for an adventure of rafting down the Ocoee River on Friday, June 7. Cost for this outing is $75 and this will include rafting down the Ocoee River and two meals! More details to come!
Supper Club | July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm at different restaurants in and around the Athens/Watkinsville area as we fellowship around the table and share in a time of devotion. We will announce the restaurant each week! Registration not required.
Middle School to Lake Lanier Islands | July 19
We are excited to take our Middle School students to Lake Lanier Islands Beach and Water Park for a day full of adventure and water slides! The cost will be $50 and this includes all day fun at the waterpark and dinner.
Youth to Stone Mountain | July 21
All Rising 8th-Graduated Seniors are invited to join us as we head to Stone Mountain Park! We will enjoy a picnic dinner, fun around the park, and we will end the night watching the new Drone light show! The cost will be $25.00 and this covers park entrance and dinner!
Youth Braves Game | August 2
Take me out to the ballgame! This evening is open to all rising 6th-Graduated Seniors! Come join us as we head to Truist Park to see the Atlanta Braves take on the Miami Marlins! We will leave from the Kohl’s Parking lot on Epps Bridge at 5:30pm. Cost is $35 and this covers ticket and dinner on the road!
