Dear Parents, Families and Friends,
Welcome to The Weekday Preschool at Athens First United Methodist Church. As Jesus welcomed the little children into his arms, we welcome your child to our Preschool Ministry. We believe children are a blessing from God, and we thank you for sharing your little one with us. It is our calling to provide opportunities for learning in a loving, Christ-centered environment.
The Weekday Preschool has had the privilege of serving families since 2005 and remains committed to its purpose of building faith foundations while nurturing the whole child. With focus on strong Christian values, our curriculum includes an emphasis on academic readiness, and physical, social, and emotional development. Our students leave with the social skills and self-awareness needed to engage in the next steps of their learning journey.
The Weekday Preschool also recognizes the influence of our teachers. Our dedicated staff is committed to building healthy relationships and engaging classroom environments that allow each and every child to thrive. Our teachers and staff invest not only in what students are learning but also in who they are becoming.
