Scuba VBS | Student Volunteers
Scuba VBS is going to be full of Bible adventures, games, music, snacks, hugs, high-fives and sciency-fun “wows”! Don’t miss all of the “fin-tastic” fun God has in store at the summer’s best week ever!
Students, we are so excited for VBS this year and are excited about all the ways that you will be able to participate and serve this June! Below you will find more information about ways you can connect:
Going into 6th grade this Fall? You will have your own Aquatic realm buoying between our AFUMC campus and offsite mission opportunities.
Going into 7th-12th Grade? We need you to dive deep and swim alongside our adult leaders and volunteers and keep the younger fishy friends safe and engaged. Our rising 7th-Graduated Seniors have the opportunity to serve in several areas during VBS from games to Imagination Station to hanging out with all the amazing kids that will be coming to AFUMC to learn about God. You will select areas that you would like to serve in and then you will be placed based on needs and where we see best suited for you to serve! The deadline to register to serve at VBS will be May 12.
Mark your calendar for VBS Training on Sunday, June 2 @ 12:15pm in the Youth Room. Lunch will be provided. This training is required for you to volunteer during VBS. If you are unable to attend this training, please plan to arrive at 8:15am on Monday, June 3 to be trained. During the training we will go over expectations, Safe Sanctuaries training, and you will make your name tag for the week!
