Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the holy season of Lent—a 40-day season of preparation for Easter by observing a period of fasting, reflection, and repentance. On this day, we mark the sign of the cross on ourselves as a remembrance of our mortality as we seek a more faithful life. “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

Midday | Community Ash Wednesday Observances

We will offer ashes to neighbors in the following assisted living facilities: Arbor Terrace, Grove, Whispering Pines, and Bella Terra.
