Wreaths Across America | Veteran's Ministry

The Oconee Hill Cemetery and the Apalachee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) are honoring the veterans for their service to our country by sponsoring the Wreaths Across America project in December. Volunteers will place A live balsam wreath with a red bow on each veteran's gravesite on Saturday, December 14, known as National Wreaths Across America Day. This nationwide project aims to place a wreath on the grave of every veteran in America- one grave at a time. Last year, 776 wreaths were placed in the Oconee Hill Cemetery. Please join the two million volunteers and supporters to make this a special day of honor and remembrance.
