“The visible church is all the people who get together from time to time in God’s name. Anybody can find out who they are by going to church to look. The invisible church is all the people God uses for his hands and feet in this world. Nobody can find out who they are except God. Think of them as two circles. The optimist says they are concentric. The cynic says they don’t even touch. The realist says they occasionally overlap.” –Fredrick Beuchner
The church is alive and well in our community. Let’s let ourselves be seen – by each other and for each other. Let’s build each other up as the Body of Christ, for as the apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthians, “for just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.” Join us as we gather to sing together songs of our shared faith. Let’s begin to draw the circle of the visible church wider.
