Heroes of the Faith
Music and Arts Week is a fun-filled three-day camp held June 13-15, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Children currently in Kindergarten through grade 4 will be involved in all aspects of producing the musical "Heroes of the Faith."
All participants will get the opportunity to discover their dramatic side in a group setting with theater pros. Students currently in grades 3 and 4 are eligible to audition for a speaking role!
Work on large group numbers as well as songs about Bible heroes in this fun time of making music together.
Learn some superhero moves and choreography that will be incorporated into the musical production.
Come make your very own hero costume from fabrics and other crafty materials!
Students will have a hand in helping with the set for our musical, from set construction to the finishing touches.
Games with the gym staff will help everyone discover their inner superhero!
Children should bring a lunch with them each day. We encourage everyone to bring peanut-free food, as we always have participants with this particular allergy. Snacks are provided. Carpool drop-off is available in the main drive-through from 8:45-9:00 a.m. each day. You may also drop off in Hancock Hall. Pick-up is in Hancock Hall at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday afternoon, please join us at 3:00 p.m. for our performance of "Heroes of the Faith" in Hancock Hall.
