Souper Suppers

A new ministry has begun during the Souper Supper time, the Souper Supper Store.  Every Thursday from January through May the Souper Supper Store is run by volunteers to help meet some basic needs of those in our community.  Individuals attending the Thursday night meal are able to pick up two items such as toilet paper, flashlights, socks and more from "the store."

There are several ways you can participate in this new ministry:

  • Make a financial donation to AFUMC and indicate Souper Supper Store in the memo line.
  • Purchase items needed for the store.
  • Come work in the store on Thursdays.

We meet in the parlor on the second floor next to the elevator. Our opening prayer is at 5:00 p.m. with closing prayer over completed shawls at 5:20 p.m. Some continue to knit after that. Come join us when possible!  Contact: Dianne Morrison |
