GriefShare will meet again during the winter and spring of 2020! This thirteen-week faith-based curriculum features nationally recognized experts on grief and recovery topics. GriefShare groups are for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. We will have two groups this semester. Our Wednesday morning group, led by JoAnn Webb and Martha Aenchbacher, will begin January 29 at 9:30 am. in room 114. Our Tuesday evening group, led by Linsey Jarrett and Taylor Miller, will begin February 4 at 5:30 p.m. in room 114.
On Tuesday, January 28, at 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday, January 29, at 9:30 a.m. we will host one-time Loss of a Spouse seminars in room 114. During Loss of a Spouse, we will watch a video and discuss topics including practical tips for coping with the death of a spouse, reasons for hope, and sharing why it won't always hurt so much. Participants will receive a booklet with more than 30 short readings on how to live with grief and eventually rebuild your life. There is no cost to participate in Loss of a Spouse, but please register online so that we can plan appropriately.
You are invited to join GriefShare at any time. Each session is "self-contained," so you do not need to attend in sequence. For more information about each session, please visit GriefShare's webpage.
