The Elijah Project

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer."
- Romans 12:12

The Elijah Project is an inter-generational prayer ministry. Through the partnership of youth and adult church members and consistent, expectant prayer, God is moving in our church in a powerful way!

How does it work?

Each participating student is matched with an adult prayer partner. We provide the adult with prayer requests and updates about their student. The identity of the adult partner is concealed from the student: we want our students to truly experience unconditional love along with the excitement and anticipation of eventually discovering who has been faithfully praying for them throughout the year. Although the identity of the adult is not known to the student, the adult is able to pass anonymous notes and encouragement to their student.

When is the banquet?

We will celebrate all God has done through this ministry this year on May 7, 2020. Adult prayer partners will meet student prayer partners, and students’ parents are invited to attend. We will enjoy table fellowship, fantastic inter-generational connections, and opportunities to share about the goodness and faithfulness of our God.

How do I RSVP for the banquet?

Please RSVP by April 22 by filing out the appropriate form below.
