Youth Christmas Lock-In

December 15-16, 2017| Athens First United Methodist Church

Our lock-in is open to all students in grades 7-12! The activities at the lock-in will include dinner, caroling, missional activity, games, worship, and movies. Sleep is also an option—a very good option—but not a requirement! We hope that this lock-in will be a great time for our youth to strengthen their relationships with one another through Christian fellowship and fun.

Friday evening through Saturday morning, December 15-16.

Athens First United Methodist Church
327 N. Lumpkin Street
Athens, GA 30601

Check-in will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15 in the youth hallway at Athens First UMC; this is when parents can turn in all necessary forms for their students if not done so already. If you haven't paid the $20 registration fee, you can do so at check-in - checks made payable to "AFUMC."

  • Health Form: Each school year, we are required to have an updated health form on file for each student participating in our overnight/retreat events. The 2017-2018 health form is linked below. Each youth attending will need one of these filled out in order to participate in the lock-in. If you have not already filled out this school year's health form, please turn in a completed copy at the check-in table for the lock-in.

8:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16. We'll have your student all packed and ready to be picked up from the youth area at this time.

The registration period for the lock-in is November 16-December 10. The cost is $20; you can pay this fee either online when you register or via check or cash during check-in at the church. It’s very important to us that you register by December 10 so that we can best prepare all of the needs and logistics for each student participating. The sooner you register, the better we can plan!
