Each Thursday from January 21 – April 29 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., we will serve a free meal and necessary personal goods to our neighbors in need. Although it will look different compared to Souper Suppers of the past, we are excited to serve our community. This year, Souper Suppers will be an outside, socially distant, to-go style program.
We have many ways to participate in this ministry as an individual or as a group:
Cook or make a donation to purchase a meal for 200 community guests (if your group is unable to prepare a meal, but would still like to contribute, we have low-cost catering options available)
Serve guests in our new outside serving line
Provide 75 Children’s Blessing Bags for child guests
Purchase items for the Souper Suppers Store. Items needed: toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, aluminum foil, Ivory bar soap, men’s deodorant, women’s deodorant, and lotion. Items can be dropped off at the church Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
If you are interested in serving with this ministry, be sure to sign up on the Missions web page for future dates.
If you have any questions about these volunteer opportunities, please contact Kimberly Liebowitz.
